Let me introduce myself my name is Suzanne Figueroa. In 1995 a couple that wanted to hold their private wedding & reception here at our home approached us. Prior to this wedding, we had held many fundraisers for the Arts, AAUW, Soccer and other organization that needed space and would respect our property. More than anything I love to have my hands digging in the earth whether it is a tree, flower or a vegetable. Myself and a full time gardener maintain this private paradise and I truly enjoy people coming to visit and experience the fruits of our labor. Our home is situated on 10 acres with 460 rose bushes, towering Italian Cypress an ancient 200-year-old White Oak tree near the entrance. We also have Redwoods, Fruitless Pistachios, Walnuts, Apples, Pears, Plums, Redbuds, Olives and an array of other trees and many species and ornamental landscape features.
In 1995, when they asked to use our property for their wedding I was very hesitant at first. But decided why not, it would be a great experience. Well that one wedding has me hooked; I loved every minute of the planning & organizing and it has never stopped. Organizing is my specialty, after years of coordinating in medical & dental offices when computers were just emerging. This gave me the mental ability to perceive what is needed to make an event as special as the couple’s vows to one another. We also want the celebration afterwards to be a very special magical occasion. In 2007, when the mother of a bride encouraged me to let her develop a website for me as a special gift to thank me for the work (which was really enjoyment on my part) I had accomplished for her daughter and new son-in-laws wedding, I said yes. The next morning my website was live! She was very determined and had it ready before she even asked me. Boy did I get busy, to the point of having to limit the special events, as this is our home.
Now with the special support from my husband Miguel, other family members and occasionally other staff members we are holding from 10-15 of those very special events called weddings from the last week in April until the first week in October. The most important thing to me in any event is to make it as stressless as possible for the bride, groom and their families. It should be a day of celebration, not a day of you thinking or a family member doing the work and trying to celebrate at the same time. This is where I step in. From the initial planning stages I will develop your ideas into an event that you will remember for the rest of your lives.

We try to accommodate you in any way we are able by allowing your personal items and supplies to be brought to the site three to four days prior to your event. Any items that need to be picked up can be done so the following day. We can accommodate 200 guests for a wedding & reception, 350 guests for a reception only.
